One of the questions we often get asked is about how we keep so many items on the porch without them getting ruined. Well, first, let me say that things do get wet and it does requiring some major cleaning and scrubbing at the end of each spring thanks to the pollen but other than that it is relatively easy to keep up with things.

I just wanted to pop in real quickly to wish you all a Happy Sunday and to wish a Happy Father’s Day to my husband who is an amazing father to our girls…
and my wonderful dad,
and father-in-law!
I had been waiting and waiting for months for Quinn and Lindsey’s big day and could not wait to take a gazillion pictures. Well, the Wednesday before their wedding I woke up so sick! Ugh – and it lingered for the next couple of weeks. So, the day of the wedding I felt like a zombie and took very few photos.
I know you’ve already seen the lemonade stand, puppet theatre, and ice cream shoppe, but I am just now finally finishing up the tutorial. After today I promise I won’t show any more pictures of this stand. I have to say, though, if you have young kids this is such a fun idea and although it does take a little bit of time, it is really easy!
I saw some adorable cones on Pinterest. The tutorial for them can be found at Melissa and Kellie’s fabulous blog, Icing Designs. Lillie and I had so much fun making them that we thought it would be fun to make some little ice cream sundaes too!
After having been sick for a couple of weeks Lola and I are finally feeling so much better! However, thanks to that I am quite behind on blog posts. Don’t worry, though, we’ve been quite busy here the last few days and hopefully will be catching up and back on track soon.
