I haven’t done any decorating whatsoever out on the porch yet but we did plop our furniture into place that first day and so far every single night since we moved in we have eaten our dinner out here so I figured I would show you how it looked.

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend. We are out of town right now. I had planned on finishing up a few projects before the girls and I made our annual summer trip to New Hampshire. However, due to a dear family friend heading home to be with Jesus quite unexpectedly, we ended up leaving Thursday and making the trek up here earlier than planned.
Yesterday I showed you the downstairs “before” shots of our new home and tonight I will show you the “before” shots of the upstairs. There are four bedroom upstairs. Here is the master:
We will be painting the trim Simply White and then painting the walls. I’m still not sure color or direction I want to go in here yet.
Whew! What a crazy few weeks it has been! We did not end up getting our internet up and running Sunday afternoon as I had hoped which is why I didn’t post yesterday but we did finally get it running yesterday so I could finally upload a bunch of my photos into blogger last night!
Sorry! I didn’t mean to go so long without posting! I had planned on doing a post on Monday as soon as I got back from my cousin’s wedding with a tour of our new home. Well, moving and all that comes with it has been terribly exciting, of course, but also pretty overwhelming and we’ve had a few hiccups along the way.
