I hope you all are having a lovely week. I wanted to pop in today to introduce our newest chalkboard print, “In Christ alone my hope is found…”

Back in March, my niece, Everly Penniman, celebrated her first birthday. My sister, Jamie, created the most beautiful party for her. She went with a “Penny Candy Store” theme. I have to say the awnings she made were incredible! They were not very easy to make though, and I am pretty sure she almost gave up on them but I am so glad she was able to pull them off because I think they absolutely made the biggest statement and loved how they turned out.
I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! Sorry I haven’t posted in a few days. We’ve been busy working on the playroom as well as doing some spring cleaning – we spent almost 8 hours yesterday cleaning out the garage – ugh! Ever since we moved in last summer we pretty much just let that be kind of the junk area and hadn’t figured out any real system for storing things out there.
We’ve been busy working away and have made quite a bit of progress in the playroom (I am officially done painting in there – Hallelujah!) and the wallpaper is going up today. We also now have our bed and rug and I’m working on nightstands in our master bedroom.
