Month: July 2016

We’ve got another new sign to introduce! This one is from one of our favorite Emily Dickinson poems:

“Hope is the thing with feathers

That perches in the soul,

And sings the tune without the words,

And never stops at all…”

You can find it here in our shop – the fist batch will be listed tomorrow (Tuesday) morning at 10 EST.

Here are some photos of it in Jamie and Josh’s family room:

And here it is in our parent’s dining room:

Although we do have several projects in the works I don’t have anything new to share today so I just thought we’d share a few pictures of some pretty hydrangeas we cut from our yard and have around the house including here in our guest room:

Hello! This is Jamie, Jenni’s sister, and I’m back to work at Dear Lillie after an extended maternity leave…or so I’m calling it. Several years ago, I used to break my back from 11-Noon Monday through Friday shipping packages and such, but I’ve spent the last few years having two sweet little girls who keep me pretty busy.

When we moved in we thought the master bathroom was going to be one of the very first things we tackled. Ironically three years later and it is the LAST project we are officially doing her in this house  – ha! We just kept putting it off as we were unsure what direction we wanted to go in (we had at one point considered knocking a wall down and enlarging the space so we could add a freestanding tub, but that would have taken away from one of the bedrooms) while we remained indecisive on this space we continued to work on making over pretty much every other square inch of this house.
