We are so excited to be working with our sponsor Birch Lane to bring you a brunch tablescape that would work well not only for Mother’s Day but any other spring or summer brunch as well! We love mixing both elegant and more casual pieces for a look that feels special but not too formal. And we are also excited to be hosting a giveaway for a $250 gift card to Birch Lane which you can enter at the bottom of this post!

We used this beautiful Chaplin Large Planter as the centerpiece for our table and filled it with fresh cut branches and tulips. Because it is a planter we just slipped a simple clear vase inside to hold the flowers in water. I love the color and pattern of it and that it looks like an antique!

Then at each place setting we used the Milford Square Dishes which have a slightly more casual and fun feel and then I love the elegance that the Wilmington Gold-Plated Flatware added!  My absolute favorite additions to the table are these O’Keefe Water Goblets. I absolutely positively love them. They remind me of some my great grandmother had. They feel so elegant and fancy yet kind of whimsical too!

We added this Tiana Pillow Cover in Blue. I loved how the large 22″ size looks in our wingback chairs.

Here are some other angles of the room:

We used the Mariana napkins between the dinner and salad plates and then wrapped a small gift for each place setting using some gold dotted wrapping paper and simple navy ribbon and a gold scalloped ribbon.

And on the ends we wrapped some gifts in some navy houndstooth paper tied with a simple navy ribbon.

Over on the sideboard we had a very simple brunch setup with food that I knew my girls would love! We did some fruit, waffles, oatmeal sticks, some croissants (not pictured) and miniature pancakes topped with blueberries (I always make my girls miniature pancakes because they love them, for these photos though I bought some pre-made ones. I wasn’t sure I would be able to make that many in exactly the same size for photos – haha!) And then some lemonade.

We served the lemonade in this Classic Glassware Pitcher and these O’Keefe Glasses which are the same style as the water goblets and I just love them!

And then we used several serving pieces like this Milford Rectangular Platter, and the Francesca Serving Bowl to display the food on the sideboard. Then we eventually moved the serving pieces down to the table as can be seen in some of the photos.

The Russo Marble and Wood cake stand in the smaller size was perfect for holding the miniature pancakes!

And guess what?

  1. The Milford tableware is divine! I love it! But as a cake stand hoarder, I'd have to say I like the wood and marble stand holding the adorable pancakes! 🙂 I wish I lived near my mom so I could do something sweet like this!

  2. Absolutely gorgeous, from the food to the stemware and dishes. Of course that beautiful dining room doesn't hurt at all ❤

  3. I have to tell a little about my Mom.She could do anything from cooking, sewing, woodworking, she could fix anything and loved to "putz" around the house. She was kind, generous, honest, loving, had the patience of Job, and funny even if she didn't know it. She never asked for anything her whole life because she honestly felt she had everything with my Dad and us girls. She would laugh at all the old stories with her sisters and we had as good a time watching and listening to them. Our Mom adored her Grandchildren, and they adored her right back. I never heard her say an unkind word, ever. She saw only good in everyone. She lived by and taught us to live by the Golden Rule. I miss her every day, and try to be more like her, but don't come near. She sounds too good to be true and she was. My mom's sisters were exactly the same kind of women. They were raised so well by their mother to be as good of people as they were yet still be so very likeable and loveable. Sorry to go on so long, but I love to tell about my Mom…

  4. Wow! Everything you do is always so beautiful.
I love the Milford Rectangular Platter…it's so pretty and elegant.
Thank you for giving us a chance to win a gift card to Birch Lane!

  5. I love that wood and marble cutting board as well as everything else!!! It's so hard to choose, it all looks so beautiful!

  6. Either the hobnail glasses or the marble and wood stand and cutting board are my favorites – it's hard to pick just one!

  7. The whole room is beautiful and each Birch Lane piece is fabulous! I especially like the flatware and the cake stand. One of my mom's many talents is cake decorating, so I just might have to get her one! I am definitely inspired to make this Mother's Day a little fancier! Thank you for the chance to win our own treasures from Birch Lane.

  8. Everything is so beautiful. I know my girls would love the pancakes as blueberries as their favorite, but I think I'd have to soak in all the details and decor before I could start eating.

  9. Before I saw the giveaway I had already pinned the Hobnail Detailed Water Goblets – O'Keefe Water Goblets from Birch Lane. I so need these! And, loved seeing the gold flatware as we have sterling flatware with gold that I hesitate to use as too formal but now you have given me the idea to use anytime. Thanks!

  10. Love the marble and wood cake stand and the wing chairs and everything from Birch Lane.
    Still miss my mom everyday!

  11. Love the hobnail glasses & those napkins. Both would be perfect for my Mother's Day lunch I'm hosting to honor my mama who is truly my best friend & my mother in love for raising her son to be such an amazing husband & father!

  12. Everything is so beautiful! Love the hobnail glasses. My eye went to those immediately! Would love to throw a bunch like this for my wonderful momma 🙂

  13. Thank you for such beautiful I'd! I throw a brunch for my Mom every Mother's Day, and I can't wait to use some of these ideas. I especially like the buffet set-up on the side table. Gorgeous!

  14. ooooo, the dishes are lovely. but so is the cake stand. Too hard to choose a favorite!

  15. What a generous giveaway. I am addicted to pillows. The Tiana Pillow Cover in Blue is beautiful. This is the third Mothers Day without my mama, I sure miss her. I got the love for antiques, shabby and treasures from her. Thanks for the chance.

  16. I love the whole setup! Keeping things neutral and simple allows the focus to be on the interactions between the guests rather than the show of the host. 🙂 Thanks for a great giveaway and wonderful inspiration!

  17. My favorites are the wingback chairs and cutting board. Thank you so much for offering such a wonderful giveaway!

  18. This is such a beautiful table Jennifer! I miss my mom every day and especially on Mother's Day. My mom's favorite thing to do on Mother's Day was have the family together for a lovely brunch. The blues you used in the centerpiece and those napkins remind me of her. She added a touch of cobalt blue to her brunch table. I have carried out the brunch tradition and have my girlfriends over. Several have lost their moms as well so we gather over yummy food, laugh a lot and share fun stories and memories of our moms. Your table has inspired me!

  19. I would love to be seated at this beautiful table for any occasion. My favorite of many was the Russo Marble and wood cake stand. The mini pancakes looked yummy on top! Thank you for a chance at the giveaway. Happy Mothers Day!

  20. The wing back chairs are fantastic. Love the cake stand and wonderful glasses. This post is fantastic. Such a lovely way to celebrate Mom!

  21. Love this water goblets! Thinking I need those and the juice glasses since mine have all broken except for 3… Would be perfect for celebrating Mother's Day with a brunch!

  22. I am getting to spend Mother's Day with my mom for the first time in 20 years. Never thought when I left for college to a far away place would be so long until I get to physically be with her again on that day. On other note, I love all of your brunch decor.

  23. I love it all! Beautiful room for a Beautiful day that will be shared with a Beautiful MOM!!! Follower and friend in Hagerstown, Md.

  24. Oooh, it's a toss up between the flatware and the white beaded dishes – so pretty!

  25. Everything is so beautiful! My favorite is an easy choice, the Chaplin Large Planter. I'd fill it up with my mother's huge pink peonies! That planter would make any setting a perfect place to celebrate mom! She'd love it just as much in a dining room or outside on the picnic table under the willow tree!

  26. The table, your dining room, just like everything you put together are simply lovely. You have such a gift! I am in love with the O'Keefe glassware–SO pretty!

  27. The Tiana blue pillow cover drew me in, while the sweet Milford square dishes kept me captivated to scroll for more beauties. Happy Mother's Day everyone!

  28. I LOVE the O'Keefe hobnail glassware, it reminds me of my sweet grandma. She had a huge collection, and I feel so lucky to have been given some of her favorite pieces. I will always treasure them.

  29. I would like to honor my sweet mother who has been gone around 15 years. She never gossiped about anyone. It was not until I was an adult that I realized what a role model she had been for me. I would enjoy any of the Birch Lane products. I would love to attend that brunch at your beautiful table.

  30. The nicest of table settings…perect for a Mother's Day luncheon. Curious as to what your little favors on the plates for your guests were as I'm in need of ideas. =)
