Good morning and Happy Friday! I can’t believe November is here. This fall sure is flying by! Today I wanted to share about the roman shades that we added to several rooms in our rental. The first day we moved in we quickly realized we were going to have to figure out a solution pretty quickly for all of the windows. I absolutely LOVE the natural light that this house has. The windows and light coming in are beautiful but we also needed some privacy based on how the house sits. I ordered some curtain rods as soon as we moved in along with some inexpensive panels for most of the rooms. For a few of the main rooms though I also knew we were going to need shades as well. We had used Blinds Galore for a client’s home recently and were so pleased with the both the experience and quality so we were thrilled to partner with them.

I went online and chose several samples which arrived a couple of days later. Deciding on which material and color was actually much harder than I anticipated. I was able to rule out three or four of them right away against the wall color but then once I had it narrowed down to three I had a really hard time decided – they were all so beautiful!

I finally decided to go with the Boutique Natural Waterfall Woven Shades in the Islay Barleycorn with a Privacy light filtering liner. We went with the cordless option which I have LOVED!!!! We went with an inside mount and measured each window and each shade is custom made for that window so they fit perfectly. I am so excited about them!!!!!! They were super easy to install. Each window took me about 10-15 minutes doing on my own. If you are doing it with someone I think you could knock each window out in less than ten minutes.

Here’s a close-up at the material. It’s so soft. I love the feel, look and color of it!

And I think my favorite aspect is that they are cordless. That feature makes them look so streamlined and they are so easy to use!

Here they are in our dining room. We will be sharing more photos of the dining room either Sunday or Monday. I took a bunch of Thanksgiving tablescape photos earlier this week, I just need to have a chance to get it typed up.

And the final room we added them to was our master bedroom. We are going to share some more photos of this room next week but here you can see how pretty the shades look in here.

I love the warmth that they add to the room!

And here you can see the shades in our client’s home that we also got from Blinds Galore. These ones were purchased through their local store and I don’t think are available online but this is the info on them: Manh Truc/Moso Collection 2-6 Bacopa Camel. This is their guest bedroom.

And here are those same shades in their main living space.

If you are in the market for window coverings I highly recommend heading on over to Blinds Galore to see all that they have to offer!
