I have used both neutral and and more traditional colors over the last several years when decorating my autumn tablescape.  I had decided to go with a more traditional colors in here but when I pulled the orange pumpkins in here they looked too harsh with the black chairs and I love the chairs so decided to switch my plan and go a bit more neutral. I started with this olive and eucalyptus garland  from our partner, World Market, and then filled it in with a few fresh cut branches and some old faux pods that I’ve had for years. I then added several candles on either side of two pumpkins. I pulled in these beautiful black velvet chairs to add a formal look to the space. These chairs, (along with ALL FURNITURE!) are 40% OFF RIGHT NOW!  Then on the end chairs I added these rich green velvet pillows.

At each table setting I used these textured stoneware plates and these textured stoneware ramekins. I knotted an ivory napkin at each setting and then used this beautiful gold flatware at each setting. I have been wanting this gold flatware for a while now and am so glad I pulled the trigger on it finally. It is so beautiful! The gold makes the flatware feel formal but the simple clean lines keep it from being too fussy.

I have tried a lot of tapered candles over the years and I really love how these ones burn.

These stoneware ramekins are just so beautiful!

I also took some photos after I removed the pumpkins and added in some African knobs and protea bundles. I love this simple look.
