I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with blogging very well this summer. With the girls out of school along with working on client projects there just aren’t enough hours in the day!

Today I wanted to share some new wingback chairs from our sponsor, Hayneedle that we added to our family room.

Good morning! Today I wanted to pop in and finally share some “real camera” shots of our new rug. I’ve shared it a couple of times in our Instagram stories, but just finally now got around to taking some photos of it to add to the blog.

Hello, everyone! Jenni and I recently spent some time re-decorating the built-in bookshelf area of her family room so we could give you all a look into the method she uses when styling a blank space! While the captions and tips are specific to her built-ins, the general thought process should apply to any time you need to style bookshelves!

Good morning! I hope you all are having a great start to your weekend. Ours started off with basketball and has loads more basketball in it, and of course will end with the Super Bowl! Before we head off to our first game of the day though I thought we would pop in and share a couple of changes we made in our family room.

One of the projects that I have had on my list now for months and months but kept avoiding was painting my window seat and mantel. They had been primed back when they were built last winter but there’s always been so many other projects to tackle and seeing how the primer was white it wasn’t really that noticeable.

Good Morning! I can’t believe a week from today is Christmas Eve! I feel like the older I get the more quickly December flies by! Today we are popping in to share our family room with it’s simple Christmas touches. I originally was going to put a Christmas tree in here but ended up deciding to go with a simple garland and lights over the mantel, my favorite nativity set on the right side of the bookshelves and my favorite Mary and Joseph figurine in the bookshelves on the left side.
