Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend! I got to snuggle my new nephew this weekend so am kind of sad now to be back home. Although I am missing family, I am excited to be able to share with you a little refresh we did in our entryway to make the space much more functional for our family!

We partnered with The Home Depot and I am so thrilled with the changes we made. Although the entryway in our rental is a really nice size and has a great layout it doesn’t have a regular sized closet or an ideal space for hanging coats, and storing shoes. Initially we put a console table we already owned in here along with a bench and even though I liked how those looked they weren’t functionally working for us. I moved both of those items to the upstairs hallway where they work perfectly and started looking for something that would be more functional for us.

I knew I wanted to put a chair in the corner but was torn on what I wanted to put on the long wall on the left. I thought about going with a locker type system which would be great for storage but because this is the main entryway decided against that. In our last couple of homes we rarely used our front door but in this house it’s the main door we use so I didn’t want the entryway to end up looking like a mudroom. I wanted to still have a somewhat formal look to it.

While browsing The Home Depot website I found this church pew hall tree and fell in love! It was beautiful to look at but also would add some much needed storage to the space. We keep sneakers and shoes in the bench which lifts up and hang our coats on the hooks. Lucky for me, all four of us actually have black winter jackets so they actually coordinate – haha! Although I think the only jacket that was home at the time I took these photos was mine and I removed it for these photos.

This gorgeous chair was the perfect addition to this corner. I was thrilled when it arrived!

The basket and pillow were great finishing touches for the space! The Home Depot carries thousands of products from leading brand names in every category and makes it so easy to complete your project and design your home from top to bottom. They offer free shipping on orders over $45 and free returns at over 2,200 stores! That really helps takes the stress out of ordering something online!

We also have some great finds from The Home Depot in our living room as well.

This gorgeous mirror was only $67! And the console table is so unique. I absolutely LOVE it. It was just what this room needed. And the lamp is an elegant finishing touch for this spot.

This mixing bowl (which came in a set of three) was also a great find from The Home Depot.
