Good morning! Today we are back with the first installment of this years’ Seasons of Home Tour. Today myself and 7 other blogging friends are sharing some of our favorite budget friendly or foraged fall decor! Although I grew up in New England I have spent my entire adult life living in the south and therefore as much as I usually am itching to start adding some fall accents to the house the moment September first hits, it’s usually still blistering hot here so I typically just ease into it through September. Real pumpkins don’t tend to be available around here until for another few weeks so I pull my faux pumpkins out and then usually clip some branches from the woods. I also like swapping out some of my more summery pillows for ones with texture to add a cozy feeling to the house. You can find lots of my favorite inexpensive ones here in this post.

I haven’t shared pictures of this room yet because I am still waiting on furniture and the rug to arrive but am hoping in the next few weeks I’ll have more to share of this space.

Wall color – Greenblack by SW in a matte finish  /  Trim – existing  / Drapery Rods – Amazon  /  Drapery Rings and Hooks – Amazon

In our bedroom I added some more branches and a faux pumpkin. I have been using the same faux pumpkins for years and years now. I am not really even sure where I got most of them originally but I have painted all of them over the years. Most were originally orange.

In our breakfast nook I clipped some more branches (I can’t wait for the branches outside to start turning color!) and then added some dried pods to a basic chocolate cake I made to give it a fall feel!

And of course adding candles throughout the house always helps give a cozy feeling!

In our entryway I added some dried hydrangeas I cut from our yard and then some more faux pumpkins and a dried gourd, all of which I have had for years. I actually have had the gourd for fifteen years!

Once the weather gets cooler I may swap out the hydrangeas for some more autumn colored branches like these or maybe some pampas grass like this

Floor  – Heart Pine stained with Minwax’s Weather Oak  /  Door Stain – Existing and don’t have any info on it

Then in our living room I have some more dried hydrangeas from our yard as well as a couple more faux pumpkins that I have had for forever.

You can click here for living room source information.

And then in our kitchen I pulled out one of the fall wreaths I made last year (I had updated them for spring here, but then swapped a few things back out to give them a autumn look again). And then added a few more velvet pumpkins that I have had for years.

Cabinets, Hardware and Granite – Existing  /  Wreath – I made it, tutorial can be found here  /  Espresso Machine – can be found here and here
Oversized Cutting Board – World Market  / Serving Tray by Coffee Station – Serena and Lily  /  Coffee Cups – Walmart
