Welcome! Today we are joining up with some of our blogging friends as part of the Seasons of Home Holiday Tour to share some Christmas by Candlelight pictures! I am horrible at taking night time photos so I apologize in advance for the quality of these. I even set my new tripod up and really tried to get them right but I’m just not very good at capturing night time images. Sorry! Even though the photos themselves are not very good, I do think it’s fun seeing the magic of Christmas with the candles all lit and the glow of the fireplace and the twinkling lights on the trees so here goes: First up is our entryway. I should point out that although we pretty much always have the smaller candle lit I don’t typically have the taper ones ever lit unattended because they are close to the wreath – so don’t panic. Haha! Along with the candles I love having a tree in our entryway this year. This is one of the trees we used on our porch last year and I had gotten it out of our attic area when I pulled all my other Christmas decor out and decided to just put it here for now until I decorated our porch. Although I decorate the inside of our house early, I typically wait until around Thanksgiving to do any decoration outside that way our neighbors don’t think I am completely crazy. However, I love the tree so much in this spot that I think I will come up with another plan for the porch and leave the tree here. For all source information for our entryway you can click here.

Next up is our living room.

There’s not much that beats the magical twinkle of the lights on a Christmas tree. Or the glow of a fireplace: Behind the sofa we have this nativity scene and more candles. I love the way these ones reflect off the mirror. Over in our dining room area I made a four foot long candle holder using this tutorial from Kristen! It’s such a simple project but has such an impact! I’ll be sharing some daytime photos this week of this tablescape! And lastly here’s a little glimpse of our our bedroom. I made more of this pom pom garland for in here and really love how it hangs on this tree. You can get info on how to make the tassel tree artwork here. And for other bedroom source info you can click on this post from last year.

Now be sure to head on over and check out of all these gorgeous candlelit tours!
