Good morning and Happy Friday! I hope you all have had a lovely week. I can’t believe how quickly January has flown by. I feel like December always goes by in a blink but January usually feels a little slower, however that hasn’t been the case this January! Whew! Anyway, today we are partnering with World Market to share some touches we have added in our home that help cozy it up for the winter months once all of the Christmas decor is gone.

First, we added this faux cowhide rug under our kitchen table. That immediately added warmth to the room. Then I added pillows with lots of texture (velvet, faux fur, and macrame) and a light, soothing color to help brighten up these dreary winter days. I pulled that same color onto the table by adding this beautiful jug and filled it with eucalyptus. It looks lovely empty too though! I also swapped the chairs we had in here with these ones from our dining room to mix things up a little bit for now. I like having chairs that can be easily swapped back and forth for a different look.

Throwing this sheepskin area rug over the back of the bench and using it as a throw helps add another cozy element to the room.

In our entryway I added a ceramic vase as well as a cozy throw and a faux olive tree all from World Market. Unfortunately, I can’t find this throw or tree online to link them. I purchased mine in the store. And then I slid the potted tree into this lovely wood planter.

In my office I added this cozy fur throw from World Market as well! I can’t find it online to link to but our local store had quite a few left when I purchased mine last week.

The desk, globe and elephant tape dispenser are all from World Market too and some of my favorite finds!
