Month: November 2012

I hope you all are having a wonderful week! Ours has been good so far – William and Mary won again last night so they are off to a 2-0 start for the year. And I just finished up another project last night that I hopefully will be able to get photographed in the next day or two so I can show you.

I have been wanting to make a tufted ottoman for months now. I was a little scared to try it though. Once I made our farmhouse table and upholstered bench I decided to go ahead and give it a try. When Jon and I bought our first home I loved brown.

If you have been reading this blog for a while then you are probably well aware that I love silhouettes. I have loved them for as long as I can remember, which is why we make and sell them in our shop from pillows, to clothing. When I discovered Crafted by Kerstin last February I completely fell in love with her work.

I finally got my tufted ottoman photographed this morning and I photographed our porch decorated for Thanksgiving as well. I don’t have any of those photos edited or ready to go yet but I will show you a little sneak peek of the ottoman:

And here’s a little peek of our Pilgrim Boy Vinyl Cutouts.  We just listed them in our shop!

Inspired You, the much anticipated book by Marian Parsons (known here in blogland as Miss Mustard Seed) was officially released today! Marian is talented on so many levels. Not only did she write the book, she styled and photographed it all as well!
