Good morning! Although this room isn’t finished we are making more progress in here! I will have a post up tomorrow with shots of this room from all angles but today I wanted to focus on this comfy new sofa from our partner, Sixpenny, that we just added to the room! We were eyeing several of their beautiful sofas but due to the fact that this is upstairs and you have to take a sharp corner to get the sofa into the room it quickly narrowed down the dimensions of what we could fit as far as getting it into the space and this sofa was the perfect fit for what we needed! I have always loved the look of a single cushion and this one is particularly pretty! And I love that the slipcover can be easily thrown in the wash. I decided on the white because I love the contrast with the dark walls and this is the one room we keep the dogs out of for the most part because the girls do puzzles, legos and other things like that with small pieces in here. Although technically they do come in here once in a while – for instance last night Teddy was in here snuggled up with me while we watched the girls, Jon and a friend play H-O-R-S-E but for the most part this room is the one space the dogs don’t have free reign in – ha!
This is their Amelia Sofa in their Cotton Linen fabric in the color Pacific Pearl which I would consider to be a pretty true white. It has super luxurious feather filled cushions that make it so comfortable you don’t want to get back up once you’ve sat down on it! In fact, you kind of what to just sleep there – ha! It is a great quality piece with kiln-dried hardwood and plywood reinforcement that form an indestructible frame. And the frames are reinforced with corner blocking for increased stability.
