Good morning! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. Today I am joining some of my blogging friends for another installment of our Seasons of Home tour. Today we are sharing cozy touches we have added to our homes for autumn. I will be sharing the warm and cozy touches we added to our bedroom along with a little peek at a few cozy touches we have added to some other rooms as well. Adding texture to a space is an easy way to help it feel cozy. I used this basket and a textured throw in this little nook in our bedroom to make it feel a little more cozy for fall. In our bedroom I pulled these inexpensive flannel sheets we got last year out and put them back on our bed, along with a soft lumbar pillow and fringed plaid ones to help it feel extra cozy for the upcoming cooler months. I think these are the cheapest sheets we’ve ever purchased but they are Jon and Lola’s favorite sheets we own! I also put our duvet back inside this linen cover and swapped our white quilt out for this ivory one we used last year which gives the room a warmer feel. I prefer the lighter white look in the summer but love this warmer feel for the fall months. I clipped tons more of our Loropetalum and filled vases with them. I love the dark rich color they add to the room and they last for a couple of weeks in a vase if I am good about changing the water. I mixed in some faux florals with my Loropetalum in the vase next to my bed.   Sometimes I wish the dogs didn’t find this room quite as cozy as they do. Haha! They spend a lot of time snuggled up on our bed. Teddy actually sleeps in our bed every night. If you told me that I would have a dog sleeping in my bed every night even just three or four years ago I would have thought you were crazy! Mixing patterns really can help give a space a warm, homey feel! I tried adding rust colored knit pillow to the corner chair but have to admit it only lasted there a few hours. Although it is a pretty color it felt a bit too harsh over there so it didn’t stay. I actually only ended up edited a couple of pictures of this corner because the pillow is kind of driving me crazy in these photos. Whoops!

Another way to add a cozy touch to any space it with candles! I love the romantic feel that pillar candles and vintage style candlesticks add to a space. I found these ones at an antique shop for just a few dollars years ago (before I was even married!)  and I still love them just as much as the day I found them. You can find some similar candlesticks here and here. I added these door knobs to all of our downstairs doors a few weeks ago after using them in our bathroom makeover and love them so much! I can’t wait to swap out all of the upstairs doors now too! The door you see in the corner leads to our bathroom. We gave it a budget friendly makeover just a couple of weeks ago! Here is what it looked like before we moved in: With just a few easy and inexpensive cosmetic changes we were able to make it feel a bit more like us and help it flow better with our bedroom. I still haven’t ordered a stool yet for in here but have been using this leather one recently I like how for the last ten days or so because I needed the dining room chair back at the table. I like how the warm feel of it flows nicely with the warmer tones we’ve added to the bedroom for fall. Here is a little peek of our bonus room. I’ll have a full post on it up either tomorrow or Tuesday. We tried some of these plaid pillows up here along with these textured oversized pillows  and really liked how they looked in there. We used a faux fur throw to really add to the cozy look up in that room as well. We’ve had that throw for years – I think it was from World Market. Here’s another angle from the bonus room. We will share more later this week. We added some fall touches to my office as well with a wool throw that we got years ago at Wayfair and my favorite leather pillows from World Market. I’ll share more photos of this room once I have a chance to go through them. And if you missed it we also shared inexpensive cozy touches that we added to our living room here in this post.

Now be sure to head on over and check out all of my friends cozy spaces:
