We have gotten a ton of packing done the last few days which is nice but that means our house is an absolute wreck so I didn’t bother to do any fun Fourth of July styling for these photos. I just quickly took a few pictures so that we could get them listed in the shop. I started working on a God Bless America chalkboard too, but haven’t finished it and am not sure I will. At the rate I’m going that may have to wait until next summer…
We have this chalkboard print available in the 8 by 10 size shown above, and the 11 by 14 size shown below:
Also I thought I would share with you an e-mail I got from one of our readers named Rachel. She told me she had used a photo of Lillie as inspiration for a painting she did and attached a photo of it. When I opened the attachment I saw this beautiful painting of one of my favorite photos (you can see the photo here). Isn’t she talented?
Well, I’d better get back to packing. Just two and a half weeks to go!
That painting is beautiful!
Love this!

I love that photo as well… how nice to see a painting of it. Good luck with the packing… always a bittersweet process, but sounds like you are moving on to a fun project!
Love Love Love!
That's a gorgeous painting, I love the photo of it too. How lovely of Rachel to send it to you! Hope the packing is going well!…xv

If you purchase the download, can you print it smaller then 24 x 36?
Our downloadable chalkboard art is sized to print at 24×36. As far as resizing goes, you technically can resize PDF's with any basic photo or file editor without pixelizing the lines, but you will need some knowledge of how to use the program. Also keep in mind that the dimensions are 24×36 (2:3), so you will want to keep the width and height ratio the same if you make the file smaller or larger. Changing the length and width ratio of any image will distort the image (for example, changing it to 18×24 would make the ratio become 3:4). However, if you keep the ratio the same, such as 8×12 or 48×72, the file should still print correctly (although you will not be able to do an engineering print at these sizes so our instructions will not apply).
For the best quality we would recommend printing them at a local print shop like a Staples at their designed size. You can read more details on how to do this here in this post: http://dearlillieblog.blogspot.com/2013/02/how-to-download-print-and-frame.html
