I hope you all are having a wonderful Labor Day weekend! Yesterday we shared the kitchen and dining area of this new townhome that we just finished helping a client decorate. This was such a fun project to work on and the clients were such a pleasure to work with. The starting point for this part of the room was deciding on a sofa. We wanted something that was both stylish yet also very comfortable and we were so pleased with the ones we chose. We decided to use two of them to allow for more seating.
One request that our client had was to make sure we had space for two comfortable chairs, preferably recliners in this room and these leather ones worked perfectly. We added some simple round end tables and then a more modern cocktail table. We went with a vintage style rug that coordinated nicely with the sideboard in the dining area and then pulled colors from it for the pillows and throws we added to the sofas. We found most of the pillows at HomeGoods for great prices! We wanted a clean and uncluttered look so just added a few simple accessories throughout the space. The vases, orb, wooden bowl and even several of the books were Homegoods finds! We love heading to HomeGoods especially in hunt for all of the finishing touches of a space we are working on. They have so many different things that work to add those special touches to a space and at such affordable prices!
And here are a few wide angled shots:
There is a powder room just off this space and it was pretty much impossible to photograph but here’s what I was able to get of it. The wallpaper is my favorite!!!!
