A Little Bit of Spring in Lillie’s Room
Lillie loved the little bunnies that she and Lola picked out at Target so I gladly moved them from the dining room up to their room (we still call it Lillie’s room even though they both sleep in their now). The room doesn’t really look different than the last time I photographed it, we added a few tiny touches of spring- the two little bunnies, some eggs a nest and some pink tulips. Lillie loves when she gets to have pink flowers in her room.  The tulips were so pretty at Trader Joe’s this week I actually got several bunches and added them to our bedroom and Lola’s as well. I’ll show you the simple spring touches we added in those rooms once I get those photos on the computer. For now though here is Lillie’s room.

 I removed the “Lillian” and “Annabel” from the bolster pillows seeing how the girls now share this room.

We have two new items we’ll be introducing later this week – a new pillow and a new chalkboard print and download (plus I just finished up another new chalkboard last night!) and I’ve got photos of Lola’s room and our room and also some photos of Baby Everly and two baking posts that I should have this weekend or next week!   10. Such a pretty room! Oh my, I am in LOVE with the owl and pig pillows…especially the pig…how cute!! You're so lucky to have such a big bedroom for your girls. Ours are about the size of a shoe box 🙂

  30. Your blog is SO beautiful! I am so curious, how do you find time to edit all those beautiful photos, paint, decorate and take care of your little ones? How do you find the hours in the day? 🙂 I hope when I have my first home, it will be even half as beautiful as yours!

    1. Thank you Joey! There never are enough hours in the day – haha! I do most of my work when the little ones are in bed. I work just about every night from about 8:30-9ish until between 3 and 4 am, (this week I've even had a few 4:15 nights- ugh!) so I don't get a whole lot of sleep – haha!

  33. So cute! I love love love the angel wings. Quick question, how do you store the toys? Do you have a cute organizing idea as to hide those less than pretty Barbies and doll clothes in their bedroom, or do you have a play room that you can just shut the door? We live in a 1915 farmhouse so storage is at a minimum and I can only purge so much before the girls tell me they are deprived (rolling eyes.) So I am stumped on what to do and how to get them to where they can play with them, but I don't always want to look at them. My style is a lot like yours. Thanks a bunch.

      We have NO storage in our house either. =( Just a half-sized linen closet upstairs and a teeny tiny closet downstairs, which makes it very interesting trying to hide their toys. =) And we don't have a basement or attic either – haha! We do have a one car garage though that is a disaster. =) We have lots of hidden storage for their toys and they either play on our family room floor or the floor in Lillie's room and we try to pick stuff up before we get out something new, although that doesn't always work. =) If you walked into our house during the afternoon either the family room or Lillie's bedroom would be a mess with them playing but by bedtime everything is usually back in it's place to keep things from getting out of control.   34. So clever! 🙂 We are in the middle of a renovation, and each girl will get their own room after to help, but currently with 900 sq. ft. 1 bathroom, and 4 people it is getting a bit tight. We too have to make sure we are conscious of picking up after we are done and before getting something else out otherwise there would be no place to walk. The good part is we all only have what we use. Thank you for answering back. Can't wait to see how you update it when you do.

I'm trying to figure out how to decorate my daughters first "big girl" room and I'm sure I'll come back to your blog a lot for inspiration now that I have found it. I wanted to ask about the stuffed animals on the beds though. Those are the sweetest things I have ever seen. Did you buy them somewhere or is there a pattern out there that I could get so I could make some for my kids. I love the whole room but those two stuffed animals had me scouring the internet to see if I could find them. Sadly, I came up empty handed, if you could tell me where you got them or what pattern was used to make them I would be so grateful! Thanks.

  36. The girls room is so gorgeous! I will soon be putting together the first "big girl" room for my daughter and I know I will return to your site often for inspiration now that I have found it. I wondered if you could tell me where you bought the stuffed owl and pig that are on the girls beds? I have fallen in love with those stuffed animals and I know my kids would adore them. I thought it looked like they may have been handmade from a pattern but after much searching the internet I couldn't find anything like them and they are so cute. I'd really appreciate if you would let me know where they came from or the name of the pattern that was used to create them if that was the case. I'd love to find/ make some for my kids next birthdays. Thank you for all of the beautiful things you share with us!
