A few weeks ago we shared a more traditional holiday table setting and today we partnered with World Market to share a more whimsical one. This one is nice and simple and has a little bit of a winter wonderland feel to it that could work for a New Year’s table setting as well. We started with lining the center of the table with these icy white bottle brush trees that have a touch of glitter to them. We used a mix of different heights. Then we layered in some of these wood candle holders also in a mix of heights and used these candles which are wonderful!
Then at each table setting we used one of these gorgeous icy blue dinner plates. I love the Scandinavian-inspired abstract floral design and the texture on the plates. On top of those I used these snowflake plates that I got at World Market last year. I don’t think they have them anymore but these or these would look pretty. And then I topped it off with one of these mugs. Online they sell them in pairs with the green ones, but in the store you can just buy the blue ones individually. I love this modern take on gold flatware. These go with everything!
I knotted a napkin and placed it inside each mug.
I used these adorable little nutcracker ornaments as place card holders. They make a great little gift to if you are having a party.
I love the pretty glow of candles any time of year, but I feel like they are especially magical at Christmas.
Can you spy Teddy looking out the window. Ruby LOVES the cold weather but Teddy does not so on the cold days he watches Ruby out the window which cracks me up.
I also got a set of these plates that coordinate with the ones I got last year.
These are the ones I got last year. I also think these little stamped spoons are a great gift.
And here are a few pictures of the more traditional setting that we shared a few weeks ago. We used quite a few World Market pieces in this setup as well including these beautiful velvet chairs and pillows!
