We finally added some finishing touches to our den. We’ve been searching and searching for the right ottoman for the space. I’d found several different ones that were close to what I had in my mind but either not quite the right size or were more than I wanted to spend. I really didn’t want to make one because I didn’t like the idea of having two ottomans so similar in rooms that are right next to each other. However, we’ve been spending more and more time in here lately and I decided to just throw in the towel and go ahead and make one using the same technique as the one I did for our family room. It’s roughly the same length as our gray one but quite a bit wider – this one is 60″ long and 34″ wide. I think our other one is about 24″ wide.

Then we moved the Birch Lane wingback chairs into this room – they are much more comfortable than the ones we had in here which really makes me want to keep them in here, and I LOVE how they look against the dark walls! However, I really love them in our dining room too, so I’m torn on which spot I am going to keep them. And then I found this table from Joss and Main that fit perfectly between the chairs.
