Good afternoon! So now that August is coming to a close and September is on the horizon I’ve started adding some subtle fall touches throughout the house. In this house I  will probably stick mostly with some brown and green autumn decor because that flows with what we have going on and I  also feel like the green touches have a more subtle fall feel to them which is nice when the weather is still warm out. I added some green pumpkins which I grew myself!

I’ve added some new houndstooth pillows (anything in a houndstooth pattern always makes me think of fall!) and a new wreath – which is easily my favorite fall wreath I’ve ever owned!  I  have tried it in a few different places in the house and LOVE it! I think I’m going to need to order another one! I  also added some handmade ceramic vases in two sizes which I LOVE. And I    added this new scalloped rattan mirror which adds so much warmth and texture.

And this rattan tray is so pretty.  I  love adding cozy textures to a space during the fall and winter months.

And here are some cozy touches we added to our guest room including this beautiful velvet lumbar pillow.
