Happy Sunday! We hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! We just wanted to share a few pictures of our outdoor seating area where we added a few simple fall touches. The throw and knit pillows we just brought out for the day/evening but the rest of the stuff stays out there all the time.
Today we are so excited to be partnering up with Joss and Main and several of our favorite blogging friends for the fourth fall installment of the Farmhouse Holiday Series. And Joss and Main is giving away a $500 shopping spree to one lucky winner (you can find out how to enter at the bottom of this post).
As much as I love fall weather, I wasn’t really ready for fall colors, especially this early in the season, so I was so excited to find a few light blue-green pumpkins the other day! I added one of those and a bunch of cut branches to the entryway and pretty much called that my early fall decor!
I’ve tried out this Gettysburg Battlefield print in a couple spots (the family room and here) and am still trying to decide where to leave it for fall, because I like it in both!
Last week we had the opportunity to spend two nights at a beautiful historic resort in Charlottesville called Keswick Hall. The hotel itself was beautiful and the grounds were spectacular. There were rows of beautiful hydrangeas both out front and in back and perfect roses blooming on vines that were crawling up the trellises out by the infinity pool.
At the back of the house, there is a hallway connecting the family room (which used to be Uncle Bob’s dining room off the kitchen; we put a table in the kitchen and use the rest of the space as a family room) to the living room. As with the rest of the house, he packed this space with storage potential!
