I hope you all had a lovely weekend! I’ve been busy working on painting the guest room and getting it all put back together as well as working on an updated space outside, however I don’t have pictures of either of those to share yet so I just thought I would share a few images of our kitchen table and family room with some spring branches cut from outside.

My family grew up in New England in a town flooded with lilac bushes, in fact it’s where Louisa May Alcott was inspired to write Under the Lilacs. Pretty much all of my relatives have had gorgeous lilacs including my parents, my grandparent’s and even Jason, and although I have been able to cut many a branch from their yards I have always dreamed of being able to cut lilacs from my own yard.

I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! We shared a few photos of Jamie and Josh’s new family room on Friday and today we thought we would share some more images of the space. I absolutely love how they have updated the space, yet still kept the blue tones that are so reminiscent of our Uncle Bob throughout the room.

My sister Jamie, and her husband Josh and their two adorable little girls moved in December. They sold the house that they built a few years ago (that we featured quite a few times her on Dear Lillie) and moved a few towns over to where most of the rest of our family lives.
