As many of you know I am in love with Colonial Williamsburg. We take Lillie down there at least once a day and some days twice. My favorite part of the day is after dinner when we take her down there once the heat is starting to wear off and the sun is starting to set and let her run around and pet the “dog dogs” and check out the “horsies”.

As Jenni mentioned in a recent post, blogging and Etsy have provided many opportunities to meet some pretty awesome people. Making wedding paraphernalia has an added benefit: I get to be involved in one of the most important days of their life!
In honor of several big milestones here at Dear Lillie we have decided to do a bigger give-away than normal for May. In the past couple of weeks we hit the 1000 “favorite” mark, the 500 sales mark on our Etsy site, and the 150 follower mark here on our blog, so we have decided to give the lucky winner a
$100 gift certificate
to our Etsy shop.
We were supposed to fly to New Hampshire earlier this morning but poor Miss Lillie came down with strep throat yesterday morning and last night even with several doses of Motrin in her had a temp of 104.4. Poor little munchkin! She is such a sweet little baby, though and didn’t really even act that sick except to be a bit more snuggly than normal and she didn’t have quite as much energy.
For quite some time now I have wanted to do some toddler and little girl size tanks. I will probably carry them to fit ages one year through about a girls size twelve and our womens small should fit the next size up. This weekend, I finally took a break from everything else I was working on to make a few.
We took Miss Lillabel to Busch Gardens yesterday for the first time and to say that she loved it would be an understatement! She was completely enthralled by everything and had an absolute blast. Jon and I really enjoyed it, as well, and we can’t wait to take her back! Plus, she was so exhausted she slept until 10:30 this morning!
