Good morning! Last week I shared how I made some DIY wood heart garlands and today I’m sharing the one I put in our blue laundry room (the rest of them I used downstairs). For this one I just uses some of the smaller hearts that I had stained in Golden Oak along and just glued them onto some string.

Good evening! I hope you all are having a lovely week so far. We’ve made a couple of batches recently of these puff pastry hearts filled (some filled with chocolate frosting and some with Nutella) and they’ve been a huge hit so thought we’d share them here on the blog as well seeing how they make a great little Valentine’s Day treat.
Valentine’s Day DIY Heart Garland
When the girls were little I used to have fun adding some little Valentine’s Day touches throughout the house but honestly it’s been years since I’ve done that. I’ve done some Valentine’s baking the last few years (like this cake and these cupcakes and these mini cakes) but not really any decorating.
Good morning! Today I wanted to share with your our blue Easter table setting with dogwood branches. You can see some of our other Easter table settings from years past in this post. This year, I started off with these faux dogwood branches.
I have always loved doing table settings. In fact it’s always been one of my favorite decorating things to pull together. I sometimes will add in a little new accent (like the maple leaf plates and turkey salt and pepper shakers) but otherwise I typically use items that I have around the house.
More photos and all of the details for the cake above can be found here in this post.
Good morning! I hope you all are having a lovely week. I was hoping to have time this week to put together a fun little Easter table setting but unfortunately I haven’t had a chance so instead I thought I would compile some previous Easter table settings and cakes that I have done along with a couple of mood boards for Easter decor items I have eyed this year.
