Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! I thought I would share some photos I took of the Christmas tree candles in our library last week seeing how I am about to add a few little touches of red in here so figured I’d share these images before I went ahead and did that.

I’ve been slowly working on our living room. Based on the layout of the room I knew I wanted to add a fireplace to the back wall and ideally wanted to have two matching sofas facing each other. When we first moved in though we used the sofas we already had and played around with the layout a little bit and figured slowly over time we’d add in pieces.
Good morning! Well, it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas around our house. Although I am definitely not done decorating I have made quite a bit of progress so far and thought I would share some of that today along with some Christmas finds like this set of adorable Gingerbread Nutcrackers (or technically Gingerbread Toy Soldiers) from our sponsor Wayfair (links are paid links).
DIY Fireplace With Electric Logs
Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a lovely Saturday! Last year was the first time in a decade that we didn’t have a fireplace and I really missed having during the holidays. I’d really love to build something like this down the road but I’ve got a few things I’ve got to figure out mathematically based on the room and so for now I thought I’d just build a basic DIY Fireplace With Electric Logs so we could have something for this holiday season (and maybe a few more too before I actually attempt the more complex one).
Good morning! Today I wanted to share a turkey shaped cake I made that would be great for Thanksgiving and would make a great centerpiece as well! I have always loved doing table settings and this one was a fun one to do. The cake doesn’t have to be a centerpiece though.
Good morning! I hope you all are having a lovely day. Today I thought I’d share some photos of our living room with the cozy new rug we added last week. It’s so plush and adds warmth to the room for the upcoming fall and winter months.
