Every year since the girls were little we have made gingerbread houses. It’s one of my favorite traditions we do each Christmas. We used to make more traditional looking ones but we often had trouble with them falling apart – particularly when the girls were little until we switched over to these A-frame ones from Trader Joe’s several years ago and now we always use that kit because they are so easy to work with!

Good afternoon! Our blue bedroom decorated for Christmas is the last space left to share this holiday season (and then I plan on sharing a little tour with snippets from all of the rooms). Last year during the holidays we were still sleeping with our mattress on the floor so for the first time in years and years we didn’t bother to put up any Christmas touches in our room so it was nice being able to do that again this year.
Good afternoon! Back in March we made over our laundry room and even though style-wise it’s a little out of my box, it’s one of my favorite makeovers we’ve done so far in this house. Today I wanted to share our blue laundry room with some of the little Christmas touches we added to it.
Good morning! Today I wanted to share a few pictures of some simple Christmas touches we added to our upstairs loft with Billy bookcases. Back in September we posted about the makeover we gave this hallway and how we tried to add a bit of character to the gray on gray box but painting the walls and doors and adding a built-in type bookshelf where there was kind of an odd little nook.
Good evening! Tonight I am going to share a few pictures of Lola’s UNC basketball room with some Christmas touches. Earlier this year we gave her room a little makeover. Here is what it looked like when we moved in:
And here it was after some paint and a few fun little touches.
DIY Bow Pillow
Hello! I hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Today I wanted to share our guest bedroom with some simple little holiday touches including an easy DIY Bow Pillow that I made with two shams I already had. This is a fun project to do for the holidays because you can just do it with pillows and pillowcases you already own.
