First, let me just say we are definitely not finished with Lillie’s new room but we’ve made enough progress in here that we figured we at least share what we’ve done so far. The first thing we did was switch the beds from the two guest rooms. Honestly for about 2-3 weeks I kept trying to coming up with a plan that made it so we could keep the guest beds in the rooms that they were already in because I was dreading taking the two beds apart (well, technically the white tufted one is quite easy, but this canopy one is a nightmare!) but deep down I knew that I would always kick myself that I didn’t take the time to switch them.

I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! I just wanted to share a few images of Lillie’s new room that we’ve been working on the last couple of weeks. It’s still not finished but I will be doing a more detailed post tomorrow or Monday with lots more images and info and a detailed source list.
We added some cozy touches to our master bedroom for the winter and a little bit of sparkle for Christmas. The first thing we did was add this gorgeous French Market Quilt in the color Limestone from Soft Surroundings. It is even more beautiful in real life.
This year we thought it would be fun to add some red to our guest room for the holidays. Although it has a predominately “Christmassy” feel to it right now, by just removing things like the presents, nutcrackers and a few other things it could feel cozy throughout the winter.
We recently shared details on our inexpensive autumn table setting that used pretty much all items from the grocery store or our yard. Today I wanted to share the images I took in the evening with the candles lit and the twinkle lights on. This is one of my favorite table settings and it was so easy!
On Sunday we shared images of our autumn table setting out on the porch and today I thought we’d share some photos of the other little corners of the porch.
On one side we have our “When I saw you I fell in love…” sign (we will have another batch of these available Thursday morning at 10 EST) and then our three tiered stand filled with autumn accents.
