I hope you all had a lovely weekend! We shared on instagram last night that we closed on a new home earlier this week so later this week we will have a post up with more details on our move and hopefully at least a few photos! For now though I have a couple last posts to share of our last home.
Category: Lola’s Room
A couple of months ago we shared some photos of a little girl’s room we worked on for some sweet little friend’s of ours where we used Beddy’s bedding on the beds. Well, Lola absolutely LOVED the idea of being able to zipper up her bed like a sleeping bag and was completely fascinated by it.
Although it’s not quite finished, I thought we we share some images of Lola’s new room today. This room was a little trickier to work on than Lillie’s new room because we were torn on keeping the wallpaper and we wanted to incorporate a real regulation sized basketball hoop into her room.
Although it’s not completely finished, we have made enough progress in Lola’s room that I went ahead and photographed it yesterday so as soon as I can finish going through all of the photos and get a post written up (hopefully by tomorrow or Monday!) then I will share it with you all along with a detailed source list.
This L.M. Montgomery quote, “There was something in her movements that made you think she never walked but always danced” has always been particularly special to me and it has been hanging as a print in some form or another in Lillie’s room at our last house and here in Lillie and Lola’s rom here at this house as well.
