We finally started to make some real progress in “Lillie and Lola’s room” up at Jason’s house. My original plan was to do this room pink per their request but seeing how we did their bedroom here at our house pink and just finished their very very pink playroom I really kind of dreaded the thought of another pink room.

Last weekend I made a quick trip up to NH to work on some projects at Jason’s house. Along with working on getting the girl’s bedroom ready so we can stay there on our next visit (which I will share pictures of hopefully next week) we also made some progress in the kitchen and dining room.
Whoops – sorry! This post was supposed to be yesterday but I had a little glitch. Anyway, here it is. The living room at Jason’s house isn’t as far along as the kitchen and dining room, but we have made a bit of progress in there.
Well, after three days without internet it’s finally back up and running again so I can finally share some photos of the progress we’ve made at Jason’s house. It isn’t done, but it is definitely finally starting to take shape and now that he has some furniture it’s starting to feel like a home.
Here is a before and updated shot of the dining room:
And a before and updated shot of the kitchen (we are waiting on a piece of marble for the island and to replace the light once I find the right thing, and then add some roman shades to the window).
We found this mirror at Pier 1 for half off when I was up in NH a couple of weeks ago.
With lots of help from multiple family members and his girlfriend, we are finally starting to make real progress at Jason’s house. It’s so exciting! His living room, dining room and kitchen are all starting to come together. None of them are finished, but they are starting to look like “real” rooms now!
Tonight I thought I would show you the progress we made at Jason’s house while we were up in NH last month. We still aren’t done with the kitchen but we are getting closer. We still need to replace the light fixture, add window treatments, change the flooring and put a more permanent top on the island but at least now it’s a completely functional kitchen!
