Lillie, Lola and I had some fun making some mini valentine’s cakes last week. They make a fun little dessert so I thought I would share how we did it in case anyone wanted to make some. I had seen several ombre cakes on pinterest and thought it would be fun to try!
Today I am going to show you how I made this rustic chalkboard for our dining room. I actually had it figured out in my head this summer and had planned on making this same frame for my parents when I was up in NH in early October. I even went and bought the wood.

I have been wanting to make a tufted ottoman for months now. I was a little scared to try it though. Once I made our farmhouse table and upholstered bench I decided to go ahead and give it a try. When Jon and I bought our first home I loved brown.
I hope you all had a fun weekend! We were busy here running all sorts of errands, making a tufted ottoman for our living room and taking trip to IKEA. The ottoman is almost finished and once it is I will photograph it and have a tutorial for it.
