Good afternoon! I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! I thought I would share some photos I took of the Christmas tree candles in our library last week seeing how I  am about to add a few little touches of red in here so figured I’d share these images before I went ahead and did that. And becuase the entryway and library flow together will share those photos as well. I kept things pretty similar to last year and added a simple tree with some beaded garland and then some tree candles and a bow on top. I’ve done lots of trees with tree candles over the years but for some reason didn’t add them to any of the trees last year so was it was nice putting them on this one. And then I  just added a wreath to the library ladder and some papewhites to the table.

Last year I put our nativity in your living room but this year decided to put it in our entryway. I’ve had this for around 15 years and love pulling it out every year. Unfortunately it’s no longer sold (here are some pretty nativity sets though here, here and here)).  I made the pom pom garland quite a few years ago and love finding a spot for it each year (you can find the tutorial on how to made it here).

I  think this is one of my favorite rooms we’ve ever had in any of our homes. We all love to read and so having a room that has a library feel to it has always been a dream of mine (and we’ve got more bookshelves up in our loft too).
