Good evening! I hope you all are having a good week. It’s been freezing here which sure helps it feel like Christmas. Today I wanted to share a little cozy red Christmas table setting I did in our library last week. We always eat at the dining area in our kitchen but last week we ate dinner in here and it was so festive and enjoyable that we ate in here again Sunday evening and I envision many more meals in here in the future. The table is a little on the small side but it felt so cozy with the light from the tree and the glow from the candles. It was the perfect spot to use my new Christmas plates and then I added in some dark red touches with the ribbon, candles and the faux berry branches.
I’ve been planning on doing a little “book tree” for years and finally had the perfect spot for it. It’s just a bunch of books stacked and took less than a minute to do! And then I just tied a little ribbon into a bow and set it on top.
And because the library is right off the entryway we added a little bit of red to the entryway as well:
