I love adding holiday touches to our bedroom every year and making it cozy and festive. This year we partnered with The Company Store and dressed up our room for the holidays with bedding from their exclusive collection. I started with the most luxurious velvet lace flannel sheets! I love the vintage feel that the lace adds but these are not your ordinary lace sheets. They are made from 100% cotton flannel and truly the softest sheets. You should read all of the reviews!  The lace style comes as a pillow case and top sheet and you can find a coordinating fitted sheet here. Then on top of that we used this Luxury Paloma Cotton Velvet Quilt. This quilt is the perfect winter quilt and I love the soft white color of it. Once we had the quality basics down then it was fun to add in some more festive touches.

We folded this Castleton Cotton Quilt at the bottom of the bed and layered two King Sized Shams with our Lace ones. Then we added two Euro shams to finish off the simple yet elegant look that not only looks beautiful during the holidays but will look lovely all winter long!

I think it’s safe to say Teddy is a big fan of the bedding too! I had just started taking photos of this room when he came in and jumped on the bed and then stayed in here the rest of of time I was photographing so he made his way into quite a few of the photos – ha! And yes, despite his tiny size he actually can jump on the bed. The first time we saw him do it we were shocked. He does this little “flying superman” leap that cracks us up and it is quite impressive how far and high he can go!

The lace trim reminds me so much of bedding I had as a kid and makes me feel so nostalgic. I love the vintage feel it adds to our room and it they really are the softest sheets!

I also love all the details on the quilt. The overall pattern and quilt have a timeless feel to them and the black and cream colors give it an updated modern touch.

I pretty much had to photograph around Teddy…he is so cute, though, I ended up taking some shots with him as the focus.
