We have been busy working away up here in NH. We’ve been working on
several new products as well as making over some furniture and today I
need to actually get to work making some projects for Lola’s birthday
party this weekend. I had all these grand ideas but so far have just
made a few tissue paper flowers – ahhhh! Anyway, I haven’t taken a
single photo since I have gotten to NH (with my real camera) because the
weather has been so crummy. Hopefully today will be better!

Two weekends ago while my cousin, Lauren
was in town, she helped me take the girls down to Colonial Williamsburg
so I could attempt to take some “one year” shots of Lola. Well, Lola
wasn’t super cooperative so I didn’t really get what I had in my mind –
or anything close to it =(, but here are some of the shots, anyway.
Hopefully I can try again soon and get something closer to what I have
in my head. =)

And here is Lillie with Lauren. Lauren recently started a fabulous health and fitness type of blog! You should head on over and check it out!

I hope you all have a wonderful Wednesday!

    1. yay! Glad you're following 🙂 I can't promise to have as gorgeous pictures as my cousin Jenni, but then again my food pictures could never compete with pictures of Lillie and Lola!!

  1. What beautiful little girls! My mother just retired from Colonial Williamsburg (after 30 years). It's such a special place. Seeing all of your pictures brings back wonderful memories.

  2. After reading your explanation that the photos weren't what you hoped for, I looked at the first 2 and determined to leave an encouraging comment on how darling they were….then I continued viewing all of them– I cannot imagine more adorable pix of precious little ones! The color shot of Loralei @ the fence with her little foot up, speaks a thousand words!! You truly capture the precious gift that your children are in your photography!!

  3. Even though you said you didn't get the pictures you hoped for these really turned out great. Love them! We went to Williamsburg on vaca a couple years ago and loved it, so pretty there.

  4. These are the sweetest pictures! Sorry you didn't get the ones you were hoping for. I'd be thrilled if I got some close to these of my daughter!

  5. Jenni, the photos may not be quite what you were imagining, but they're still beautiful! And the one of Lauren and Lillie is just gorgeous. But wait–wasn't it just a few months ago that Lauren was in your wedding? How does the time go so quickly??

  6. Wow.Your doughters are absolutely beautiful.I cannot even describe that with words! And the pictures…really talented mother.
Me and my mum just cant stop watching your blog ! And the birthday party – amazing dining room with all the details, love it! I promised myself I will make something such beautiful to my doughter when she will be older.
Today shes got one year 🙂
I m going to visit you everyday, amazing woman!

  7. Love, love, love, the shots of the girls at the fence, especially the one of Lillie climbing… and i wish that pink car were real, and it was mine to drive around!

    1. Thank you! Our mom made Lillie's tutu, and Lola's dress was a gift from our Aunt, but I believe it was from Chasing Fireflies.
