Gingerbread Nutcrackers

Good morning! Well, it’s starting to look a lot like Christmas around our house. Although I am definitely not done decorating I have made quite a bit of progress so far and thought I    would share some of that today along with some Christmas finds like this set of adorable Gingerbread Nutcrackers (or technically Gingerbread Toy Soldiers) from our sponsor Wayfair (links are paid links).  They are so cute and I  love the addition they make to my hutch. (The gingerbread houses in my hutch are no longer sold but I think this white Christmas village would look pretty in a similar setting!) The faux hydrangea arrangement and beaded melamine dishes are some great Wayfair finds as well!

Aren’t the Gingerbread Nutcrackers so cute?!? Here’s a further back shot of our hutch and as you can see here I  actually have two of these faux hygrandreas because I  was so impressed with how realistic the arrangement was that I ordered a second one! Also the houndstooth pillows in the chairs are really high end looking pillows and have added that perfect cozy touch for the fall and winter months. The side table between the chairs was also a great Wayfair purchase.

I  shared these paperwhites a couple of weeks ago in our library and I  was so happy with them that I ordered a bunch more of them and added them to our kitchen, dining room and our living room as well. Here you can see them in our kitchen along with these great candle sticks and these flameless candles.

I  ordered the harvest version of these plates earlier this year (you can see them in our Thanksgiving table setting post here) and fell in love with them so much that I couldn’t resist ordering the Christmas version as well. They are just so darling! For now I’ve got them displayed on our island but can’t wait to do a Christmas table setting featuring them.

Here are some more of the paperwhites in our living room.

And  I’ve got more over here in our living room too! The scalloped mirror and candle were Wayfair finds too.

How realistic looking is this wreath?!? I think I’m going to order another one! (I should point out though that it  is closer to 18″ in size though than 22″).

And how cute is this little pillow? The cozy throw is a family favorite.

These chunky knit stockings are just what I was looking for!

And the fireplace screen perfectly finishes off the mantel I just finished building (you can read more about that here in this post).

And the last spot I  want to share for today is our library. I shared photos of the paperwhites a couple of weeks ago but I just added a tree in here. I  actually already had this same tree that we got from Wayfair quite a few years ago and I decided to order another one because it has held up so well over the years and was such a great price. I  am putting the other one in our bedroom this year and am using the new one here in our library.

I also added this cute little gingerbread man pillow. I think he will end up in one of the girls bedrooms but until we decorate upstairs will keep him down here for now.

Our library is loaded with Wayfair finds from the chess set, the bust, paperwhites, the fun candle sticks and the tartan throw.

Here are a few more photos of the hutch with the gingerbread nutcrackers and our main living area:
