Good morning! We finally closed on our new house (you can read more about our move here) and although it will still be a little bit before we are settled enough for me to take photos and start sharing some of the spaces I wanted to share a few more mood boards. I shared the mood boards for Lola’s room last week and her bunk bed arrived and the girls and I got it put together today! Today I want to share some mood boards Lillie and I worked on for her room. Because her last few rooms have been very pink she wanted to go in a different direction this time and use more of a pale aqua color palette. She was very involved and guided most of the choice. It has been so much fun to work on with her! We narrowed down some of the things pretty quickly which is why some of the same items are pretty much in all of the mood boards. We were mainly trying to play around with some different wallpaper choices. And I really loved the canopy bed but she loves the upholstered one so we ended up using that on most of the mood boards and we’ve got that one ordered and on it’s way! She’s so excited.
Here are the first two which have the overall feel she ultimately decided on. We are still waiting on the wallpaper samples to arrive before we decide on one but she’s most likely going to go with either the cloud mural or the feather paper. We’ve already got her hanging chair hanging in her room. That was one of the first things we did. She loves sitting in it and reading and missed not being able to use it when we were in our rental. She was so excited to have it in her room again! We also had decided on the light fixture that’s in most of the boards but when I went to finally check out with it, it’s now on back order so we are going to go with something else. Possibly this or this, we haven’t decided for sure yet.

This was the first mood board we did and we both really liked this wallpaper but it reminded us a little bit of the wallpaper in her room that she and Lola shared a few years ago and it had a little bit of a younger feel, so we ended up ruling it out mostly because of that.
