For me, as I am sure for many of you out there that like to decorate, my favorite room in my house changes constantly. For a while, after we moved into our new home here in Williamsburg last summer, it was a toss-up between Lillian’s nursery and our guest bedroom. Then, as the path of destruction that is my daughter, grew, Lillie’s nursery dropped off the list. I still love it, but not as much as when she was tiny. I am looking forward to turning it into a bit more of a “big girl” room in a while, when hopefully another little one comes into our lives.
The guest bedroom had dropped off the list because I couldn’t find the right pillows to go in front of my shams. I had hoped to make some but just haven’t had the time. So, lately it has been my dining room and Jon’s and my bedroom that have been my favorites. However, I received a package two days ago that changed my mind! My sister, Jamie, (the one that creates all of the ring-bearer pillows and bouquets and such for Dear Lillie) sent me a beautiful package with some GORGEOUS pillows in it! I ADORE them!!!! I am hoping that she will make some more for us to sell, when she has time. The flowers are made from a silk dupioni in the the perfect color – Silver Moon. The wall color in that room is a beautiful gray from Benjamin Moore, called Pebble Beach. So, I thought I would share with you some updated photos of my guest bedroom. All I have left to do in here is add a collage of vintage style cream frames with black and white or sepia-toned family photos in them to the wall along side the left bed (it is completely bare now and desperately needs something). I have all of the photos printed, I just haven’t been able to find the right frames yet.
And don’t forget – just a few days left for entering our giveaway. Either scroll down two posts or click here to enter.
That is one gorgeous guest room as are all of the rooms I've seen so far of your place. Oh that's so awful about your antique beds being destroyed like that, but that would have been the icing on the cake in that room and maybe you'll eventually find something just as special to replace them. But right now, what's in there really looks lovely. ~Lili
You all are dreamy…I just want to hang out here! So nice to meet you!
I have to say I love your style! I want chandeliers in every room! Decorating is not my thing, I thought it could be at first but then after looking around at my home for the last 10 years I decided it's not 🙁
So glad you left me such a sweet comment, maybe I can get ideas from you on decorating. Can't wait to check out your store too!
Where did you get your wallpaper? Beautiful!
Can you source the chandelier for me PLEASE!?
I bought it over five years ago from a store in Florence, SC called the Horned Puffin.
Hi! I love your guest room! I'm planning on painting my baby room in Pebble Beach, too. Where dod you get the damask wallpaper? Please let me know so I can purchase it, too. I love it!
I purchased it from American Blinds and Wallpaper online.
Thanks so much for the info!!!! I will have to go order it now!
Hi! Can you tell me where the dresser is from/what the paint color is? Thank you!
It is from T.J. Maxx. I got it over four years ago though, so I doubt they still have it. =( If you are ever looking for an answer in a hurry you can find all that info under our the "Our House" tab.
Can you tell me as much as you can on how you made the Crown/Cornices for over the beds of your guest Bedroom? Thank You!!
The cornices/crowns above the beds were from our guest bedroom in our home in SC. They were shelves that I got at Hobby Lobby for $12 a piece. I used a $7/yard swiss dot sheer fabric to make the draping from them. I simple stapled the fabric inside for the long fabric and used some hot glue for the fabric in the actual cornice.
Hi! Can you tell me the name of the wallpaper?
Thanks!

It was purchased from American Blinds and Wallpaper online in their Norwall Stripes and Damasks Book, but not sure of the color.
