As we get ready for the girls to head back to school we’ve been doing lots and lots of organization around here. We’ve been cleaning out closets and baskets and all sorts of storage places to get them ready for the new school year. One of the spaces we worked on making a little more functional for us  this past weekend was our entryway.

This weekend we had the honor of being featured on the HomeGoods blog sharing our thoughts about using gray in our guest room. Here are a few of the images they shared:

We hope you have a lovely Tuesday!

With August half way over it’s time for us to start getting ready for autumn so we are introducing our newest print and also have started restocking several of our fall items. First, here is our newest print with a quote by  Emily Brontë “Every leaf speaks bliss to me, falling from the autumn tree.”

I drew that on a chalkboard several years ago but at the time we weren’t selling prints so I just now finally rewrote it so we could make them into prints.

We also wanted to let you know our hand-painted oversized “Enter His Gates” Signs will be available in our shop today (Thursday, August 13th) at 10AM EST.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Not a whole lot has changed in this room since I last posted images of it but some people asked about the the Paige chairs (the oval backed ones that were in here before) being moved into the family room (you can see them on either side of the TV in the last post) and wondered what was in the dining room in their place.

About a month ago we shared some images of our updated family room and mentioned that we had made a large tufted ottoman to go in front of the sofa so that we could put our feet up more comfortably every night. Our original plan was to purchase one but I wanted it to be close to five feet long and about two feet deep which ended up being a much harder to find size than I anticipated.

“The hills are alive with the sound of music

With songs they have sung for a thousand years

The hills fill my heart with the sound of music

My heart wants to sing every song it hears…”

Just wanted to pop in and wish you all a happy Saturday!
