When we did the first part of our kitchen makeover we removed the microwave over the stove and had a hood built. That meant that we needed a new spot for the microwave. I didn’t mind it being on the counter during the first part of our makeover, but once we put in the marble counters I wanted to find a better spot for it.
Well, one year and one day ago we moved into this home. (And yes, I was planning on posting this yesterday which would have been exactly one year ago but things don’t always go according to plan when you have little girls, so this is a day late – sorry!)
After living in our townhouse for five years we were quite excited to be moving to a house with a yard for the girls.
Well, our master bedroom is almost finished! I still have a few thing I am working on (like the wall opposite the bed) but we’ve made quite a bit of progress.
The before pictures were from literally right after we moved in so the room was a complete mess and we had no idea what we were going to use where.
I hope you all are having a wonderful Sunday! Every year (well, I guess I should say for 2011, 2012, and 2013 and want to go back and make them for the 2009 and 2010 once I have some time) I make a book of photos for ourselves and the grandparents.
Well, Jason’s kitchen and dining room are for the most part finished – yay! (For those of you that are new here Jason is my brother who runs Dear Lillie with me). We still plan on adding a storage piece to the dining room, some artwork and possibly a rug but all of the big projects are officially done.
