I should probably start off by admitting that I tricked you—or at least
I tried to.  You see, the above
picture has absolutely nothing to do with my post below.  Truth be told, I wasn’t entirely
confident that my own sketches would draw you in so I borrowed a random photo
of Jenni’s.  Hope you don’t mind.  Now on to the important stuff…

Since I now basically handle all of the grunt work here at Dear Lillie
with little-to-no help from my task-doling sister, I figured that it was about
time that I made a name for myself within fashion/home décor circles.  And what better way to do this than to
release my own line of items through Dear Lillie.  Without further ado, allow me to introduce you to our new men’s
line—Dear Billie.

As I mentioned last week, we will be hosting a giveaway each week from now until we open on September 1st. It’s a bit late this week seeing how it is already Friday, but better late than never, right? First, though, I thought I would post a few pictures from our trip to my uncle’s farm stand yesterday.

If you have read this blog for a while now you know how much I love the beautiful shoes by Joyfolie.  When I first was introduced to them by one of our customers I was so excited to go and purchase something for Lillie. Well, I quickly realized it was not so easy to buy a pair.

This past winter Jamie suggested that we have a Jane Austen themed book party this summer while the girls and I were up in New Hampshire. We also planned on having a tiny little party to celebrate Jamie’s 25th birthday. Well, it turned out that trying to do projects for two parties in the midst of everything else this summer was completely impossible so instead we decided to combine the two and have Jamie’s little birthday party with a Jane Austen/book theme.  We have only had a couple of days this summer where Lillie and Lola cooperated and took naps at the same time, which has made it very difficult to get all of the projects we had planned done.

Well, I had hoped to be able to show you all of the pictures from Jamie’s Jane Austen birthday party today, but I didn’t have time to finish editing the photos or write a real post. Seeing how I did need to announce the winner of the giveaway, though, I thought I would at least show you a couple of pictures and then as soon as I have the rest edited I will do a full post on it.

A few days ago we had the pleasure of meeting Joan and seeing her beautiful home. Joan and her husband, Dan, have been restoring an old farmhouse in the New Hampshire countryside. If you have ever read Joan’s blog you know that her house is beautiful.
