Bow Napkin

Good evening! I hope you all are having a lovely weekend! As usual, ours has been filled with lots of basketball. Tonight though I  want to share how to make a simple bow napkin and a neutral Valentine’s table setting. During Christmas I  did a table setting in here and we loved the cozy feeling of eating in this room (even though the table is a little one the small side) so we’ve eaten quite a few dinners in here since then!

I thought I’d do a neutral color scheme but add in some hearts for a subtle Valentine’s theme. These heart plates were a cute little addition and then I  pretty much just used items we already had. And I tied one set of napkins into bows (you can see in our Instagram highlights how I did that and we will share the video here in this post as well) and set them onto another set of eyelet napkins. Obviously we didn’t need two sets of napkins at each place setting but I liked how the bows looks on top of the eyelet ones so just went with it.

Here is a video of how to fold the napkin into a bow:

I made a bunch of wooden heart garlands and have them throughout the house (you can read about how that DIY project here) and these faux flowers are some of the best ones I’ve found for a very reasonable price!

Well, that’s it for tonight and our simple bow napkin and neutral Valentine’s table! Hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend!
