Although we have a lot of neutral fall decor throughout most of the house we have added some more traditional fall colors to some of the rooms starting with our den. We cut some branches from the maple trees in our yard and then added in some orange pillows and throws from HomeGoods to help add some color and then some warm cozy knit pillows that we got last year from Soft Surroundings.

These antler pillows are from Birch Lane last year.

This lovely basket is from Painted Fox Treasures:

And we added more of those orange pillows and blankets in our guest room along with some branches. Some I’ve had for years and years and a few are new this year from Pier 1 and Savvy Home and Garden.

And then in our entryway we added this new sign which we will have available in our shop on Thursday, Sept. 24th at 10am EST.

That’s it for today. I hope you all have a lovely weekend! You can find source lists for all of these rooms by clicking here.

  1. Love the pops of orange with the dramatic black and white in the guest room – it seems really different from your usual style but it really works!

  2. What beautiful spaces. I love the added warmth! Quick question – I love the grey couch – think something like that is fairly child friendly? ( we've got all boys – a 4yr old and 7 mo twins..) I know you also like the white slipcovered ikea sofas, which would you choose, if only needing one?

    1. Thanks, Stacey! The new sofas are much comfier and hide dirt better, but I loved that we could just throw the IKEA ones in the wash, so its hard to say! I like the new ones much better, but that being said I miss knowing how easy it was to wash the IKEA ones.

  3. Jennifer, the orange looks so warm and beautiful with all the neutrals in your home – LOVE it!!! That's the beauty of having a lovely neutral "background" – the ability to add pops of color with accessories, which is so much easier to do!
For some reason I am so afraid of orange, but I absolutely love Autumn and this really inspires me!
