Good morning! I hope you all are hanging in there. It’s hard to believe we have finished our fifth week of sheltering in place! One of the project we worked on the week before last was building a doll treehouse for Lola. Lillie actually has more space for it in her room so I put it in here to start with. And I have to admit it looks better in her room – haha! However, Lola is the one that plays with it so I did end up moving it over to her room even though it’s a tighter fit in there. I’ll share some photos of that either this coming week or next.

Here’s a pic of what Lillie’s room looked like when we moved in. It was a really nice size but very “builder basic” and gray.

And here it is now with some pretty easy changes that help add character and give it a more fun look:

We added this desk to Lillie’s room a couple of months ago so she had a place to set up my old sewing machine. Turns out that was perfect timing for this quarantine. She’s had fun making quite a few pillows and next up I think I am going to have her make us some face masks.

We had been borrowing a chair from another room until we found the right chair for her desk and then we found this adorable vintage style brass chair and it was perfect. We will be adding it to our Painted Fox Collection soon!

These IKEA cubbies and baskets have been in four houses of ours now. We’ve used it both vertically and horizontally and the baskets we got with it years ago have worked in every room we’ve used it in over the years.
