(Sorry for the blurry picture…I have been trying to shoot Lillie in our new Calla Tutu for two weeks and she has not been cooperative.
Sadly, that’s the best of the bunch and you can’t even see the tutu and it’s out of focus.)
Yesterday was one of those nice, relaxing, wonderfully simple days! Our life has been pretty hectic lately.
On Saturday afternoon we celebrated Lillian Annabel’s second birthday with a little party at my sister, Jamie and her husband Josh’s house, up in New Hampshire. Dana, Lillie and I flew in on Friday and got to Moose Mountain (what we lovingly call my parent’s property) just in time for a quick dinner and then my Mom, Dana, Jamie and I got right to work in the kitchen.
How in the world can my little tiny baby be two years old? Ahhhh! Almost two years ago exactly to the minute as I am typing this Jon and I met our beautiful little baby girl, Lillian Annabel Holmes. It is amazing how much you can love such a tiny person from the very moment you lay eyes on them!
Well, it has indeed been an up and down kind of day. As many of you know our tutus (and some of our children’s clothing) often disappear from our Etsy shop for a week or so at a time due to health issues with my grandfather and Uncle Bob (both of whom are in their 80’s and suffering from advanced Alzheimer’s and many other health issues).
Sorry! I have been a major blog slacker this week! It was a long busy week and the morning sickness that I thought I was finally near the end of came back strong these past few days – yuck! I think the end is in sight though – now I am just dying for that big boost of energy that should come at some point in the next few weeks!
Oh my goodness! Where has time gone? Our precious little Lillian Annabel turned one today. I can’t believe how quickly she is growing up! She is the most amazing little girl and we just love her so very much and feel so blessed to be her parents! Here are some more pictures from her birthday party.
