I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Not a whole lot has changed in this room since I last posted images of it but some people asked about the the Paige chairs (the oval backed ones that were in here before) being moved into the family room (you can see them on either side of the TV in the last post) and wondered what was in the dining room in their place.

We’ve had quite a bit of ice cream lately thanks to the really hot weather we’ve been having and we had lots of fun setting up this little ice cream station using our new tiered stand from The Painted Fox.  We found some really cute floral patterned paper cups at HomeGoods and we filled some little blue creamers that we found there earlier this year with caramel and hot fudge and then added some fresh cut roses from our yard to some little mercury glass votives that were also from The Painted Fox.

My computer has been acting up a little bit so I couldn’t finish up the post I was working on so I thought instead I just have some peony pictures for today.

This gray tufted bench from HomeGoods is still one of my favorite finds for this room.

I don’t have any new projects to share today, although I have been working on two different gallery walls – one in our den and one going up our stairs (finally!) and have a few other projects I’ve started like finishing up the laundry room but seeing how none of those are finished yet I thought I would just share a few pictures today of some pretty cherry blossom branches I clipped and added to the dining room.

I hope you all have had a lovely weekend. When we first started making over this room I knew I wanted to wallpaper the upper half of the walls but I couldn’t find anything that was quite right so I just quickly painted the walls a light color so at least they has something.

Happy Saturday! Well, this week we painted our dining room Kendall Charcoal, by Benjamin Moore. It’s always been one of my favorite colors (we painted our master bedroom in our last house this color and the office in Jason’s house as well as a few furniture pieces) and I am happy to have a room this color now in our new house!
