First, I want to say thank you for all of your incredibly sweet comments on Lillie’s birthday post – they meant so much to me! Second, after a month of very few pictures of Lillie on the blog I am about to bombard you with a second post in row full of pictures of her – sorry!
How in the world can my little tiny baby be two years old? Ahhhh! Almost two years ago exactly to the minute as I am typing this Jon and I met our beautiful little baby girl, Lillian Annabel Holmes. It is amazing how much you can love such a tiny person from the very moment you lay eyes on them!

On another note, it is NOVEMBER!!!! I am so excited. I love November and the official start of the holiday season.
Two Fridays ago basketball season started once again. Basketball has been a huge part of my life since I was just a few days old. I attended my first game when I was a week old (Lillie beat me though, she attended her first game when she was just five days old).
So, I FINALLY took some photos of Lillie’s room yesterday. It still isn’t completely finished. I need to hang something above her bed. I have a few ideas but can’t decide. And my sister Jamie is making her a gray ruffled pillow for her bed and I want to slowly change out a lot of the accessories to things that aren’t quite a “baby” looking but will probably be doing all of that gradually over the next couple of months.
Lillie got a fabulous surprise on Sunday evening! A visit from “Mimi and Papa”, as she affectionately calls them. (After they left yesterday morning she woke up from her nap singing a rather forlorn “My Mimi, My Papa…..My Mimi, My Papa….” It was so cute, but so sad.) It was so nice having them here.
