Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I can’t believe another week is here and we are now midway through February. Or seeing how most things in our life are measured in reference to basketball season, it’s pretty crazy to think there are only four regular season games left! Today we are teaming up with our partner, World Market to talk about one of our favorite decor items – baskets!

We LOVE baskets. If you’ve spent any time looking through our blog or instagram page you will see we pretty much have baskets in just about every room and they serve a lot of different purposes! We use them for everything from storing food in our pantry to holding bouquets of flowers!

First up I thought we’d share this new basket we just got! It’s got this beautiful macrame overlay that makes it so unique! We lined a simple glass pitcher inside it and then loaded it up with $14 worth of flowers and eucalyptus from Trader Joe’s and I love all of the textures mixed together.

I love the large size of this basket and the fact that it’s a great storage basket when it isn’t holding flowers to hold things like Ruby’s extra toys.

We also love using baskets to hold magazines! They are easy to keep right next to a sofa or a chair and make for an a nice way to keep a pile of reading material handy. This one in our living room is a great size for magazines!

We’ve got lots of different baskets in our pantry starting with the wall basket! They are great for extra storage! Then we’ve got lots of wicker baskets and even some cool metal ones.

And some lined wire baskets over on the other side.

Another place we’ve got lots of baskets is our bonus room! They come in extra handy up here!

Over here we have this fun two tone basket as well as the striped one. They are great for storing toys!

and this olive basket is also great both decoratively and for storage as well.

We used the two tone basket and the striped one  in Lola’s room as well. They are such great baskets!

We also love using these style baskets in our laundry room instead of the more typical plastic style ones.
