Rental - Thanksgiving Tablescape

Good evening and happy Sunday! I hope you all have had a wonderful weekend. We had beautiful weather and a very busy but also really fun weekend here. We haven’t added any Christmas decor to our rental yet and have been enjoying some subtle fall touches throughout the house but I am going to have to start getting the Christmas stuff out soon because I’ve got some pictures due to a few places.

Today I thought I would share with you a simple Thanksgiving tablescape. For our dining room here we pretty much just moved our existing dining room furniture right into the space. I did repaint the sideboard a more true black (it was a dark navy/charcoalish color before) but other than that the furniture is pretty much exactly as it was in our last house. There wasn’t a light fixture in this room, just some wires dangling uncovered so hanging a chandelier in here was high on my list. I was pretty torn on which one to go with but ended up going with this one because I loved how oversized it was and with the high ceilings in here I figured it would be a great spot for it! Then I hung some drapery panels and shades and that was it for this room. I am heavily considering adding some temporary/removable wallpaper to this space because I think it would be so beautiful in here, but I am trying to decide if I do want to go to all that trouble or not knowing it will probably have to come back down…

For the table I used the runner I’ve had for quite some time now, along with the Emma dishes we got for our wedding and some gold flatware that we’ve had for years. I then added these really fun feathered placemats and soup crocks! And my favorite find was this copper bucket! I absolutely love it!
