DIY Bow Pillow

Hello! I  hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Today I  wanted to share our guest bedroom with some simple little holiday touches including an easy DIY Bow Pillow that I  made with two shams I  already had. This is a fun project to do for the holidays because you can just do it with pillows and pillowcases you already own. I  used the pillows I  already had on this bed and then after the holidays can just untie the bow part and they can go right back to how they were! Isn’t this cute?

There are several ways you can do this. You can use two pillow cases or two shams OR you can use one pillowcase and then a sheet (that way you could have two “tails” to the bows). In our guest room I  decided to use the two shams I  had on the bed already. I kept one on the pillow:

and then I took the other one off the sham and folded it up like this:

Then I pulled it tightly around the back and just tied it with an elastic hair tie:

then just flip it over and there you have it:

If you want it took look a little “prettier” in the back you can sew it instead of using the elastic but I  wanted to be able to undo it for other times of the year so I  went with the elastic so it could be temporary.
